09/22/09 - Heard from Kathy at CAH. Here is the email she received from Kaz:

We are waiting for doing invitations for them. There is a problem with data bank. Therefore we think that they can come here in December. Not earlier.

CAH will still check every two weeks for an update - it's not set in stone, but at least this gives us an idea when we may be traveling.

Kathy advised that court is Dec 17 or 18th (everything starts closing down after this date for the holidays), therefore there is a possibility we will be leaving the end of November. We will hear another update in a few weeks.

09/21/09 - heard from CAH. They have written to Kaz last week to see about a possible travel date and they were going to check on it. As soon as they hear anything, they will let us know.

Today we had a conference call with Dr. Schulte from the Childrens Hospital Cleveland Clinic at 3:00. Email communication while in Kaz. Send pictures and video right away. Once medical records are translated - type up and send. She talked to us about what to look for, what we are looking at, good vs bad signs to look for, all observations should be sent. We will touch base with her once we know what our travel date is.

09/08/09 - Taked to Kathy at CAH. Paperwork is still with the MFA, hopefully by next week it will more.

09/02/09 - notarized more paperwork for the Dossier. Met with Doctor Kay Kim with Latham Pediatrics. Talked about what to look for while we were in Kaz in the child, email address, talked about communication while in Kaz.

08/28/09 - Mailed Post Adoption Agreement.

08/27/09 - Received paperwork today from CAH. We need a new letter from Lisa's employer, Post application form and notarized, then notorial certificates and Apostilles

08/20/09 - Heard from CAH - paperwork is with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs. They will notify us in a few weeks on where the paperwork is.

08/11/09 - Travel packet was sent out to us from CAH along with visa applications.

08/10/09 - Our Dossier was received by Tamara today in Kaz. We will now get updates about every 2 weeks on its progression through the ministries.

08/06/09 - All paperwork was received by CAH back from the Consulate in NYC and being mailed out to Kazakhstan on 08/07/09.

07/27/09 - Received an email from Kathy at CAH. They received the paperwork back from the translater and it was being shipped off to the Consulate in NYC. This takes 8-14 days, maybe sooner. CAH will contact us once this is back to CAH.

07/17/09 - Paperwork being sent to the translater (takes 1 - 1 1/2 weeks).

07/16/09 - went to Albany County to get Apostilles on all paperwork. Went to CAH to drop off all paperwork for the Dossier and 3 checks, 3 copies of photos (4 of the inside, 4 of the outside, 1 of the babies room and 2 pictures of us).

07/14/09 - Went to Lisa's doctors office to get the doctors paperwork redone and notarized. Went to Saratoga County, Albany County and Rensselar County for notorial certificates on all paperwork (24 sheets).

07/13/09 - Picked up furniture at Babies R Us. Meeting at CAH at 3:15 with Kathy to go over all paperwork for the Dossier. Had to redo the doctors paperwork. Went to Rensselaer county to get our marriage license with notorial certificate.

07/03/09 - Back to Cap Com to get more paperwork notarized.

06/24/09 - heard from CAH - they wrote to the social worker to finalize the studies, they have all the clearances/references.

06/13/09 - went to Cap Com to get paperwork notarized.

06/11/09 - Second social worker visit 6:30PM.

06/08/09 - First social worker visit (Michelle) 6:30PM-8:00PM.

06/07/08 - Lisa back to doctors to get results from TB test.

06/03/09 - pick up more paperwork from doctors office

06/02/09 - Lisa's physical to get paperwork filled out for CAH/dossier and to get copy of doctors medical license.

05/26/09 - Received paperwork from CAH. Went to Dept of Homeland Security/Immigration to fill out paperwork and for us to get more fingerprints.

05/22/09- mailed in some of the paperwork to CAH. Mike went to the Post Office to get picture taken and apply for his passport.

05/21/09 - Went to Cap Com to get paperwork notarized. Lisa went to the Post Office to get picture taken and apply for passport.

05/19/09 - Mike's doctor appt to get results for TB test and pick up paperwork filled out from the doctor and copy of the doctors medical license.

05/15/09 - 11:00AM - We went to the Cohoes Police Station to get sets of fingerprints for the FBI and for CAH.

Originals were mailed out to the FBI and Dept in Rensselaer this same day.

05/14/09 - Mike had his physical to get paperwork completed for CAH and stopped at the FBI office to pick up paperwork needed.

05/09/09 - Received Application in the mail from CAH and we started to fill out.
