Day 4 Dec 10

We didn't mention this in our earlier blogs but our little Eva has 4 teeth... 2 top and 2 bottom. We try to get them in the pixs but we dont have good timing... This morning Eva already ate before we got to the house, so it was all play time for us. Each visit we see more and more of the real Eva - she is warming up to us more each time. She is a very curious little girl. She loves to watch around the room and see every move going on.. loves to people watch, loves sounds and music and lights. Our translater said "she very smart girl", "she very curious". She interacts very well with the other babies in her room. One little girl this afternoon from her room was bundled up on her way to her family in the USA. Today we filled out the official documentation for court to adopt Eva. Also, this afternoon Lisa was successful in feeding Eva her bottle - she drank the entire bottle (but Mike said it was a cheater bottle because the nipple was smaller..)

Today we were told by the caretaker in Eva's room that she has not been sleeping. From what we think she was saying is that since we have been there is when is started, she said Mommy and Daddy so that was our assumption is that she was sleeping fine, then now maybe she is so anxious to when we are coming back or doesnt want to miss us - she doesn't sleep.

We stopped at the supermarket on the way back to the hotel after the first visit. As well, between visits today we journeyed out in Karaganda.. we walked down the street to the strip mall to check it out. Tons of mini stores throughout. We didnt have much time but got an idea of what was there.

At dinner tonight Lisa ventured out and tried the fried squid (which Mike ordered) and tried the chicken (from Mikes dinner) to go along w/her 3rd straight night of plain spaghetti with peppers.. lol. Mike has been the adventurous one when it comes to eating. He has tried the chicken, beef, squid, fish, "mystery meat" so we call it.. possibly horse??.. Even tried vegetable soup.. yes I said vegetables.
